Iran ready to discuss nukes in return for global disarmament

Iran is willing to discuss every aspect of its nuclear program, including all military aspects and the facility at Qom, recently revealed by US President Barack Obama ahead of a UN General Assembly meeting last week but monitored by several intelligence agencies over the past three years, if Western powers agree to discuss global nuclear disarmament, Israel Radio reported Thursday afternoon.

In England, Foreign Secretary David Miliband warned Iran that it must cooperate with international talks in Geneva about its nuclear program.

Miliband told an annual conference of Britain's governing Labour Party that discussions involving Iran, the US and five other world powers are vital to hopes of persuading Teheran to freeze its nuclear activities.

The US and allies accuse Iran of attempting to develop a nuclear weapon. Teheran rejects the claim, and insists it is constructing a civilian power program.
