The ECJS is a central European office, based in Brussels, Belgium, grouping many Jewish Student unions and associations. We provide students with many opportunities to develop their awareness of Judaism and to socialize with other Jews. We arrange and subsidize inter-European weekend retreats and seminars, which students really value and enjoy because of their unique blend of Jewish tradition and European culture.

We also support and develop a Jewish presence in universities by reaching out and uniting both individual students and groups. The ECJS endeavors to help and/or financially assist Jewish student movements, irrespective of their size, location or budget.

On a more individual level, the ECJS empowers students throughout Europe to actively combat anti-Semitism and anti-Israel behavior on their university campuses by presenting them with information and resources at lectures and discussion panels. The ECJS is also proud to regularly offer free trips to Israel in an attempt to provide students with a true and wholesome Jewish experience.

Our mission is to bring the Jewish students of Europe together, encourage students to be proud Jews, financially assist Jewish unions or groups, and create an impressive and powerful Jewish presence on European campuses. We also aim to encourage pro-Israel attitudes and activities amongst Jewish students and to provide students with the essential tools required to combat the widespread anti-Semitism in Europe.
